The Atlantic Hurricane Season 2025 runs from June 1 through November 30, 2025. June 1, 2025 is the first day of the official Hurricane Season. Are you prepared? The time to prepare for Hurricane Season is now. This article has tips that will help you prepare.
Purchase supplies now that might be needed or used during the Florida Hurricane Season. Take advantage of making purchases now instead of waiting until they are in high demand and in short supply. We have included a list of supplies that are essential and some supplies that are best to include.

The season is expected to be above normal – due to a confluence of factors, including warmer than average ocean temperatures, forecasts for weak wind shear, and the potential for higher activity from the West African Monsoon, a primary starting point for Atlantic hurricanes. All of these elements tend to favor tropical storm formation.
NOAA predicts 13-19 named storms, 6-10 hurricanes, and 3-5 major hurricanes. The season probability is 60% above normal. NOAA stands for: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
🌀Why Being Prepared for a Hurricane Matters
Hurricanes can bring winds over 74 mph, torrential rain, flooding, and power outages that last days—or weeks. In 2022, Hurricane Ian caused over $113 billion in damage. Preparation gives you peace of mind and can protect your family, pets, and property from chaos.
