Singer Island is a peninsula on the Atlantic coast of Palm Beach County, Florida. The town of Palm Beach Shores occupies its southern tip. Its latitude is 26.784 N and its longitude is −80.037; Florida’s easternmost point is in Palm Beach Shores. Before the Palm Beach Inlet was created, Singer Island was connected to the island of Palm Beach to the south.
Named after Palm Beach developer Paris Singer, a son of the Singer Sewing Machine magnate Isaac Singer. Singer Island has parks, marinas, hiking and bike paths, as well as 4.7 miles of white sand beach that has been considered one of the top beaches in Palm Beach County.
Known by the locals as the “condo corridor” Singer Island has over 20 condominium complexes in its four mile stretch of tropical land. Each building has its own unique architectural style ranging from modern, to contemporary, to Mediterranean.
Some of the amenities in these lavish complexes include private balconies, elevators, garage parking, beach access, resort style swimming pools, outdoor grilling areas, media rooms, libraries, fitness facilities, tennis courts, and much more.
Other real estate on the island includes stately homes with waterfront views. These homes are extremely popular with anglers who desire docks with easy ocean access via the Palm Beach Inlet.
